3-Day Safari to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our tour guide. After a brief orientation, embark on a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located in the western part of Uganda. The journey offers beautiful views of the Ugandan countryside, with its rolling hills and lush landscapes. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon and check in. Enjoy some leisure time to relax and explore the lodge’s surroundings. In the evening, savor a delicious dinner and prepare for the exciting adventures ahead.

Day 2: Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, known for its abundant wildlife. Look out for elephants, lions, buffaloes, leopards, and a variety of antelope species. The early morning is the best time to spot these animals as they are most active during this time. After the game drive, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This boat ride is a highlight of the safari, offering excellent opportunities to see hippos, crocodiles, and a wide array of bird species up close. The channel’s banks are often teeming with wildlife, making it a photographer’s paradise. After the boat cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge and Return to Entebbe After an early breakfast, head to the Kyambura Gorge for an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking experience. Accompanied by an experienced guide, trek through the lush forest of the gorge in search of chimpanzees. Along the way, you may also spot other primates and a variety of bird species. The trek can be challenging, but the reward of seeing chimpanzees in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable.

After the chimpanzee tracking, return to the lodge to freshen up and have lunch. Then, begin your journey back to Entebbe, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon, where you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of an incredible 3-day safari adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
