Day 1: Visit the Genocide memorial site-Volcanoes national park
Have an early breakfast from the hotel in Kigali, where your driver will pick you up from; brief you about the 2 day Gorilla trekking safari in Rwanda. He will then take you for a city tour; where you will be able to Visit the Genocide memorial site with information and memories of the shading of blood during the 1994 genocide and also visit some local markets, then have lunch and transfer to Volcanoes National park which lies on an altitude of 2400m to 4,507m, situated about 80 km from Kigali. On reaching the park that is if you are still in time visit the Ibywachu village. Have dinner and overnight as you prepare for gorilla trekking o the next day.
